Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Chavan Transport Agency ("Pickupwala", "we") collects, uses and protects information when you use pickupwala.in and the Pickupwala Android app.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details: name, mobile number, email address, gender, state and city.
  • Driver partner details: vehicle name, type, number, capacity and documents/photos (vehicle photo, RC, insurance) for verification.
  • Location: device location while you use the app, to show nearby loads and — during an active trip — to share live trip progress with the customer.
  • Booking & payment information: bookings, trip status and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are processed by PhonePe and are not stored by us.
  • Device information: app version and basic technical logs to keep the service working.

2. How we use information

To create and verify accounts, send OTPs, match loads with drivers, enable trips and live tracking, process payments and refunds, send service notifications, prevent fraud and comply with law.

3. Sharing

  • Between a customer and the driver who accepts their load, we share only what is needed for the trip (name, phone number, pickup and drop).
  • With trusted service providers who help us run the Platform — hosting, SMS/OTP and PhonePe Payment Gateway.
  • With authorities when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Security & retention

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We keep information only as long as needed for the service and for legal, tax and accounting requirements.

5. Your choices

You can view and update your profile in the app. To request deletion of your account and data, email support@pickupwala.in from your registered details.

6. Children

The Platform is not intended for persons under 18 years of age.

7. Contact / Grievance officer
